Can't import videos into YouTube Movie Maker
Q1. If you can't import some special format video or audio files into YouTube Movie Maker, please try below solution.
1. Uninstall YouTube Movie Maker first, then re-install it and try again.
2. If you are using windows7/8/10, please simply disable Microsoft Windows built-in Microsoft DTV-DVD Decoder temporarily when using YouTube Movie Maker(because Microsoft Windows built-in "Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder" and "Microsoft DTV-DVD Audio Decoder" have the highest priority which maybe override our decoder engine, so may YouTube Movie Maker can't decode some special format video files on some special circumstances.), and below is a step by step guide about how to disable Windows7 built-in Microsoft DTV-DVD Decoder.

3. If still have problem, Please downlod mediainfo from below link:

then unzip it and run Mediainfo.exe to open the failed video file, then directly capture the screenshot of the mediainfo when open the failed video file, then send the sceenshot to support@makeyoutubevideo.com, and we can get the detailed codec info about your failed video file, and give you a right solution.
Can't upload videos onto YouTube
Q2. If you can't upload videos onto YouTube by using YouTube Movie Maker, please:
1. Check your network first, you must can access YouTube.com directly.
2. If you never upload video onto YouTube before, you must create a YouTube channel first, sign in YouTube.com, and then create a YouTube channel.
3. You must provide at least one tag for each uploaded video.
4. You must keep the total length of each tag keyword longer than two bytes and shorter than 30 bytes, and you need to use the commas to divide the different tag keywords.
5. You must keep the total length of all tag keywords shorter than 500 bytes.
